Ocean County has been home to Great Adventure since 1974 and every summer people love to head to the park to have fun with Bugs Bunny and Friends.

So many different rides for the whole family. From small rides for toddlers to America’s biggest roller coasters for grown-ups. My crazy roller coaster days are coming to an end, but I still love my favorite ride at Six Flags Great Adventure, Nitro.

Nitro is my favorite because it has great speed and smooth drops. The first hill that takes you into the sky gives you a fantastic drop with lots of speed as Nitro takes you around the park and back for a great traditional roller coaster experience. Nitro has been my favorite for years.

My Top 5 at Six Flags includes Nitro, Justice League, Skull Mountain, Sky Ride, and Runaway Train.

We asked you at home to pick your favorite rides at Six Flags Great Adventure:

  • Hannah: Medusa
  • Darrin: El Toro
  • Harry: NITRO
  • Marie: the merry-go-round
  • Tony: The Garden State Parkway on a Friday
  • April: Justice League
  • Beverly: The Old Wooden Roller Coaster They Tore Down
  • Kevin: The Joker
  • Jessica: the wonderful woman

It looks like the Six Flags “Roller Coasters” might just be a fan favorite. Post your comments below and enjoy your summer of thrills at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson Township, New Jersey.
